What is Prime Document Sign?
Prime Document Sign is a secure and legally binding e signature solution designed for freelancers and small businesses. It is web based document signing software: you build agreements in a rich text editor or work from PDFs on supported plans, add signature and custom fields, send secure signing links by email (or copy a link), and receive signed PDFs with completion and audit friendly details on eligible plans. The product emphasizes straightforward workflows, templates, optional automated email reminders, mobile friendly signing for recipients, and transparent pricing from $2/month, without forcing you into enterprise complexity you do not need.
Is there a free trial?
Yes. New accounts start with a 7-day free trial on a subscription plan. You add card details to activate the trial, then use your selected plan limits for seven days. You are only charged if you do not cancel before the trial ends. Plans start from $2/month on Basic when billed annually. One-time pay-per-send purchases are discontinued.
Is Prime Document Sign a DocuSign alternative?
Yes, Prime Document Sign is a DocuSign alternative for teams that want affordable, legally meaningful e signatures without enterprise complexity. You prepare agreements, send secure signing links, collect signatures on any device, use templates and optional reminder emails on supported plans, and download signed PDFs with audit friendly completion details where your plan includes them. Pricing is published (from $2/month) with clear limits on emails, templates, and attachments. It is built for freelancers and SMBs; it is not a full replacement for every DocuSign enterprise workflow (deep CLM, large integration catalogs, or qualified signature programs), see our FAQs on honest limits vs enterprise tools.
Who is Prime Document Sign for?
Prime Document Sign is for anyone who needs legally meaningful electronic signatures without a heavy setup: freelancers, agencies, landlords, small businesses, startups, and teams sending NDAs, service agreements, rental forms, and similar documents. Recipients sign in the browser on desktop or mobile without creating an account.
How does pricing compare with enterprise e-sign tools?
We focus on simple, published plans (Basic, Standard, Premium) starting at $2/month, optional annual billing with savings on Premium, and a 7-day free trial option when you only need occasional documents. There are no surprise enterprise quotes on our public pricing page, you see limits for emails, templates, and attachments up front.
